DECORATE YOUR CARS, BIKES, STROLLERS, PETS OR YOURSELVES AND WAVE YOUR FLAGS! 

MEET AT THE  AUSTIN FIRE STATION 4 AT 1000 BLANCO STREET AT 8:45AM, PARADE WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9 AM ON TUESDAY, THE 4TH OF JULY, 2023!!!!!

FOLLOWING THE PARADE, THERE WILL BE JIM-JIM’S WATER-ICE AND FACE PAINTING AT THE WEST AUSTIN NEIGHBORHOOD PARK– 1317  W 10TH STREET UNTIL 11 AM!!!

Reminder!!! Easter Egg Hunt at West Austin Park at 9 am!

Hi Neighbors,

Just a friendly reminder about OWANA’s annual Easter Egg Hunt that will happen tomorrow, Saturday, April 8, at 9 am at West Austin Neighborhood Park.  Please plan to be there a few minutes early so we can start right at 9 am! If you’d like to drop off filled eggs, please bring them by 1417 W. 10th St (leave on front porch) by this evening! If you are an adult or older kid that wants to help hide, come hide with us at 8 am! Hope to see you there for coffee, juice/water for kiddos and some morning snacks! Who will find the golden egg?!!! Happy Easter!!!!

Rescheduled Pizza Tailgater in West Austin Park

Due to the rain and cold weather, Pizza Tailgater in West Austin Park will be rescheduled to Friday,
April 14, 2023 from 6pm to 8 pm! Hope to see you there for some FREE Pizza and Libations hosted by Friends of West Austin Park (FOWAP) and OWANA!! Kids welcome! Family friendly event!!!

Pizza in the Park Tailgater on April 7,2023

Pizza in the West Austin Park Tailgater has changed to April 7 from 6pm – 8 pm. At this event, Friend Of West Austin Park (FOWAP)is sponsoring a casual “get to know your neighbors” in the northwest corner of the West Austin Park on Maufrais Street, future home of The Overlook. Join in for pizza, beverages and other goodies. Kids welcome.  So, mark your calendar for free pizza in the west Austin Park for April 7 from 6-8pm!

Amplify Austin March 1-2, 2023 to support CCDC

Amplify Austin March 1-2, 2023 and Request from Clarksville Community Development Corporation (CCDC)

CCDC is participating in Amplify Austin’s “I Live Here I Give Here”campaign on March 1-2, 2023. CCDC provides safe, affordable housing to families earning no more than 60% of Austin’s median family income and is the only organization of its kind doing so west of I-35.
If you have not already done so, please consider helping the CCDC meet their Amplify goal of $10,000!!! Any size donation will help. You can make your donation here: Amplify Austin/Clarksville CDC.
